It was hard for me to gather information from the internet on how to work in Dubai, but i found this which made it easier for me to find a job in Dubai, Watch the video, and tell me what you think:

Visa for Dubai

Note:
Citizens of the Following Countries no longer need to obtain a visa if the duration is less than 1 month:

Note:
British citizens can stay for a month and then apply for a visa for a further two months. European, American, South African and Australian citizens may obtain a visit visa from the UAE embassy in their respective countries before departure.
Note: Israelis and travelers whose Passports bear Israeli stamps will be denied a visa.

GCC NATIONALS

Nationals from the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia) are allowed to enter the country without any Visa. and can stay more or less as long they like.

OTHER NATIONALS
For all other nationalities, You must submit a visa application form through the embassy of the United Arab Emirates or  a local UAE sponsor or a local hotel.

VISAS THROUGH HOTELS

Visas can be obtained through a hotel by reserving for a night or more. They must send a passport copy by fax or courier along with the reason for visit. "Tourism reason" is a very easy method to get accepted.
Tourists can get a visa from a tourist company or a hotel by first making a reservation for at least one night. Make sure that you get a repy back from the hotel you applied to that the Visa is ready for you, and obtain a copy from them because you will need it at the airport upon arrival to Dubai or Abu Dhabi National Airports.

Visa requirements through hotels are almost the same in all hotels, but make sure that you contact and check with the hotel for brief information and details.

Documents required:

Visa Charges and Security Deposit. An authorisation letter with the signature of the cardholder, as well as a copy of the credit card used (front and back side). Passport copies of card holder and visitors.
Please note all document copies, passport copies and credit card copies must be scanned clearly and with colour when sent, otherwise they will be rejected by Dubai Immigration.

The Visa will be vailed for two weeks from the date of issue and two weeks from the date of entry. The Visa fees and security deposit will vary from time to time. The security deposit is required per person and will be refunded after the Visa holder leaves the country.

Dubai Economy

Dubai is a very important tourist attraction, and the port of Jebel Ali has a massive effect on its trades to and from the world. Dubai International Financial Centre made Dubai burst as a very important financial hub for various kinds of industries.

Dubai built and improved specific industrial free zones all around the city in order to attract the largest amount possible of businesses and turned out to be the most effective economic acheivement of Dubai. Media City and and Dubai Internet City benefited Dubai in triggered a wide technological improvement of communication and information. Big media companies such as BBC and MBC have been established in Dubai due to the great amount of temptation in the City.

After Abu Dhabi which is the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is the second wealthiest city in the country which consists of 7 states. Some people believe that Dubai economy mostly depend on oil, But the true fact is that Dubai only used a small portion of its oil to build its infrastructure for trades, tourism, and industrial facilities.

It has been stated by officials in Dubai that only 5% of Dubai economy is generated from oil, and an announcement has been made that it will be only a year or two when oil will be a subject to only 1% of the GDP in the city. Tourism builds up around 20% of Dubai's GDP. This shows that Dubai is a widely diversified economic city.

Dubai always focused on the attraction of new investors and tourists, and its expecting over 15 million tourists in 2015.

Religion in Dubai


Muslims fulful the fourth pillar of Islam during the month of Ramadan, Which means that they fast during the day-light hours, and eat during the afternoon. Tourists must be aware that during the day-light, eating, drinking, and even smoking is not allowed in public during that time, Although some restaurants and coffee shops lock up the view from outside allowing other people from different religions to eat in private. Bars and pubs will be closed before 7PM and no loud music is allowed in public.

The United Arab Emirates welcomes proudly the foreigners from different relegious views, and respects every single kind of religions and allows them to practice it except when it comes to representing or distribution of their litrature. You will notice many mosques all around inside dubai but there are also a lot of churches and Temples to fulfil the foreigners relegious activities.



Population of Dubai

The United Arab Emirates population up to 2008 reached up 4,484,200. The state of Dubai has a population of 1,241,100 and the rest is distributed to the other states and parts of the United Arab Emirates.
It has been stated officially that there are more men than women at ratio of 3:1. The average age of Dubai's population in total is estimated to be 27 years old.

The languages spoken in Dubai is Arabic, But due to a high cultural diversity, English, Urdu, Hindi, Bangali, Pakistani, and many other languages are also spoken frequently. So as we can understand, the population includes many other cultures and nationalities which are mostly asians and commonly from Pakistan, India, Philipines and China.


Climate in Dubai


The weather in Dubai is almost always warm and sunny. In the winter, the average daytime temprature is around 25°C in the center of the country, While it decreases down to 12-15°C in the coastal areas and can also reach a temprature of 4°C in the desert areas.

In the summer, the weather is very hot and humid with a temprature of 35°C up to 49°C. Thats why it is considered the perfect location for some visitors to do a tan and enjoy the beaches.

Humidity is relatively high in the United Arab Emirates, its averaged between 40% - 90% throughout the year.

Rainfall in Dubai is not common and does not last for a long time. It mostly rains during the winter period in the form of few rain drops and an occasional thunderstorm.



Where Is Dubai Located ?


Dubai is located in Asia at the south of the Persian Gulf (a.k.a Arabian Gulf). It is one of the seven states of the United Arab Emirates. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia from the west and Oman from the east as shown on the left.
The latitude of Dubai is 25°16’ North and the longitude is 55°16’ East.
Dubai is considered the second largest emirate after the capital (Abu Dhabi) with an urban area of 3886 square km and the city is around 37 square km.
Dubai will be almost twice its size after the completion of the three man-made islands which are:
  • The Waterfront (what is this ?)
  • The Three Palms (what is this?)
  • The World (what is this?)
  • The Universe (what is this?)
  • Dubailand, and a lot of constructions going on in the desert.
